DIY Ghost Canvas

Materials:

one 16″ x 20″ black canvas ($4.99)

one tub of DAP® DRYDex® Heavyweight Spackling ($12.74 32 oz) or ($7.99 8 oz)

a spoon

black sharpie

Directions:

I started from the top and moved downward. I let each row of ghosts dry before doing the next row. The spackle starts off pink and dries to white. It takes some practice to get the form of the ghost’s head and sides, but the spackle is easy to move around. Once all ghosts are dried, you can add their eyes with a simple sharpie or black acrylic paint.

*I choose to get the 32 oz of spackling because I wasn’t sure how much I would need, but you could totally get by with just getting the 8 oz.

This can be purchased in stores for about $69.00, but my total came to about $20. I also bought my supplies at Michaels, but you can find these things in most craft stores.
